DESENVOLVIMENTO DE PROTÓTIPO DE APLICATIVO VOLTADO À PREVENÇÃO DA OBESIDADE INFANTIL

Abstract

Introduction: Food and Nutrition Education (FNE) is an important field of action for the promotion of healthy lifestyles in different social environments and adequate and healthy eating practices for the population. Considering the world scenario, including Brazil, with a high prevalence of obesity and non-communicable chronic diseases, FNE is a fundamental strategy in the school space for health promotion. Objective: To develop an application prototype that provides interaction between the school community, the family and health professionals with a focus on preventing childhood obesity. Methodology: Instructional design development follows the Instructional System Design, also known as Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE). Results: The application in question is a serius online game called “Nutri Quiz Mobile”, which refers to a quiz game where the participant is encouraged to acquire eating habits while having fun and challenging their friends, with the involvement of the school community, family and health professionals. The questions in the game are related to food, separated into five categories: Ultraprocessed; Healthy eating; Vegetables and fruits; Healthy Dish. Conclusion: It is expected that the game will contribute as a tool for health professionals about FNE aimed at the school public, and indirectly, sensitize the school community and the family regarding the importance of preventing childhood obesity to improve the quality of life. life.
