Syphilis and HIV/AIDS are infections of great concern to global public health, mainly due to the epidemiological indices they have presented, and the cases of co-infection, with emphasis on subjects in vulnerable situations and key or priority populations. Given this, it is essential to rethink the existing alternatives and propose more effective actions that reduce cases and promote access to health for those who are far from the services offered in certain territories. This manuscript aims to raise actions that can be carried out in Primary Health Care, in favor of monitoring and preventing cases of acquired and gestational syphilis, especially among patients living with HIV/AIDS. For this, an analysis of the recent Clinical Protocols and Therapeutic Guidelines (PCDT) of the Ministry of Health was carried out, which portray these infections and vertical transmission. Then, an action plan was drafted that can be adapted to different territorialities. This investigation allowed contemplating the need for training professionals and expanding services, with a view to promoting quality of life for seropositive patients and collaborating to reduce transmissibility during pregnancy.
