Abstract

The objective of this article was to analyze the actions of Permanent Health Education (PHP) in the satisfaction of users in the work process of the Dental Specialty Centers (DSC). This is a quantitative, analytical, cross-sectional and exploratory study, based on secondary data from the National Program for Improving Access and Quality of Dental Specialty Centers, 2nd cycle. The outcome of this study is based on a sequence of three logical verifications, supported by the literature, on the impact of PHP actions on the work process of the DSC closely related to the users. The most robust statistical value of this article points out that Permanent Health Education actions originating from the municipal organization increase the chances of users attributing positive values about care. In addition, these values have an 88% chance of increasing when the actions involve primary care and medium complexity professionals. Municipal PHP actions fostered and directed to the involvement of DSC and Primary Care professionals are able to influence the formatting and use of the opinion of users. In addition, they are able to raise the level of satisfaction that users refer to the care received in the DSC.
