This material aimed to understand the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic on the daily lives of women health workers in the public health system of Petrolina-PE during the years 2021 and 2022, in view of the attention and care given to users with COVID-19. Descriptive research with a qualitative approach was developed, with the participation of eleven women between 25 and 39 years old who responded to an online form and semi-structured interview. The verbal data were organized using the Collective Subject Discourse (DSC) method. The results show that work on the frontline of COVID-19 triggered signs of anxiety, anguish, fear of getting sick and transmitting it to the family, impacting social relationships. In view of this, it is concluded that the pandemic has harmed the work and personal routine of health workers.
