The aim of this study is to analyze care practices from the perspective of interprofessionality and collaborative work in the training process in a Multi-professional health Residency. This is qualitative research carried out in a multi-professional Residency program at a public University in Bahia. Data production was based on semi-structured interviews applied to 13 residents, the number of participants was defined according to the saturation criterion and its interpretation was obtained through Content Analysis. It was noticed that collaborative work is more common to be practiced effectively by workers in the basic area in Family Health Units, when compared to Hospital Units. Furthermore, it was noted that practices of an Interprofessional nature are essential tools for the construction and enhancement of comprehensive user-centered care and that residents perceive such practices as promoting bonds, recognizing light/relational technologies in health care. However, interprofessional practice encounters barriers in its implementation in different fields, with Permanent Education as a way to mitigate such barriers and actually carry out interprofessionality in order to continue qualifying the training of subjects and offering health care capable of meeting the users' needs.
