Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) have multifactorial causes, including socio-environmental and economic causes determined by the development of a region, including inadequate housing conditions, insufficient drinking water, sanitation, education and health. This research aims to identify the occurrence of vector-borne NTDs such as Dengue, Visceral and Tegumentary Leishmaniasis, Malaria, Chagas Disease and Schistosomiasis, notified in the Metropolitan Region I of Belém - PA, through a descriptive, quantitative, cross-sectional and population-based epidemiological study, between the period 2017-2022, using secondary data from the Notifiable Diseases Information System (SINAN) and made available by the Pará State Health Department (SESPA). In general, there was a decline in notifications of the NTDs analyzed during the COVID-19 pandemic. A total of 58,506 cases of Malaria, 214 of Chagas Disease, 634 of Visceral Leishmaniasis, 190 cases of American Tegumentary Leishmaniasis, 10,285 of Dengue and 470 of Schistosomiasis Mansoni were reported. It should be noted that there is no official information on autochthonous transmission of Leishmaniasis and Malaria in the study area. These records were probably from patients being treated away from home. However, vigilance should be maintained regarding the establishment of possible transmission foci. It is important to understand the transmission and control of these diseases in urban and peri-urban areas, with epidemiological and environmental risks due to climate change and its impacts on the Eastern Amazon.
