A PERSPECTIVE ON ADMINISTRATIVE TECHNICIANS AT IFRN - CAMPUS PARELHAS/RN

This study aims to investigate how Workplace Health Promotion and Quality of Life Policies impact the daily lives of Administrative Technicians in Education (TAEs) at IFRN, Parelhas campus. The methodology adopted was an applied research with a qualitative approach, combining exploratory and descriptive research. As part of the data collection procedures, a documentary survey on the Workplace Health Promotion and Quality of Life Policy at IFRN, Parelhas campus, was conducted, and a questionnaire was administered to the administrative staff. A total of 19 participants took part, 13 male and 6 female. Data analysis was performed descriptively and qualitatively. In conclusion, it was found that the Workplace Health Promotion and Quality of Life Policies implemented at IFRN, Parelhas campus, have significant impacts on the daily lives of the TAEs, highlighting both progress and challenges. The qualification of the staff, combined with the perception of a positive work environment, reflects a favorable scenario, although aspects such as internal communication, ergonomic conditions, and the adaptation of institutional policies still require improvements. The analysis also revealed the need for greater dissemination and understanding of health promotion guidelines, as well as the strengthening of initiatives that enhance engagement and address the specific needs of the staff.
