SARS-CoV-2 is responsible for COVID-19, a viral disease capable of generating long-term repercussions, one of which is significant complications in lung function. The objective of the research is to evaluate lung function in post-COVID-19 individuals treated at the respiratory physiotherapy outpatient clinic of a public hospital in the city of Teresina, Piauí. This is a retrospective analytical and descriptive study approved by the Ethics Committee and Research with Human Beings of the State University of Piauí (CEP/UESPI). Data were analyzed and collected from the medical records of patients submitted between January and June 2022. The study had a sample of 13 medical records, most of which correspond to females from the capital of Piauí, in the range of 39 (21-70) years old, with a Body Mass Index of 25.03 (18.31-35.63) kg/m2, maximum inspiratory pressure of -45 (-30/-78) cmH2O, maximum expiratory pressure of +72 (+30/+108) cmH2O and peak expiratory flow of 260 (100-520) l/min, the main breathing pattern found was the abdominal. It was concluded that the epidemiological profile of patients in the outpatient clinic comprises adult women with higher education professions, "housewives" and low education, residents of Teresina with overweight, significant respiratory muscle weakness, low peak expiratory flow and protected abdominal pattern.
