Context: Alzheimer's Disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder that is fatal and irreversible. The disease is characterized by cognitive decline, memory impairment, progressive functional decline, and a variety of neuropsychiatric and behavioral symptoms. Music therapy has shown potential benefits for individuals with AD, particularly those with learning disabilities, developmental impairments, physical disabilities, chronic pain, and other comorbidities associated with Alzheimer's. Objective: This study aims to present the profile of scientific production on the topics of Alzheimer's disease and music therapy from 2010 to 2022. Methodology: A bibliometric review was conducted using the Web of Science and Scopus databases, employing the keywords "Music Therapy," "Alzheimer's Disease," and "elderly." The collected data were analyzed using the RStudio software. Results: A total of 176 documents and 228 authors were identified. The top five countries in terms of research output were the United States, Australia, France, Italy, and China. The five major journals publishing on this topic were "Journal of Alzheimer's Disease," "Geriatrie et psychologie neuropshychiatrie du vieillissement," "Arts in Psychotherapy," "Frontiers in Medicine," and "Journal of Clinical and Experimental Neuropsychology." The most frequently used keyword was "aged." Conclusions: The profile of scientific production in this field remains relatively limited worldwide, despite the importance of the topic in the health and social spheres. The absence of Brazilian literature on this topic in the research findings is concerning.
