Teaching initiation projects and programs bring positive results, as they provide students with enriching, quality training. From this perspective, the objective of this research is to understand its impact and importance, as well as its contribution to the professional career of future teachers, so that it can strengthen and apply the teachings and practices experienced during graduation in the classroom. In this way, a survey was carried out in the undergraduate courses at IFRO - Campus Guajará-Mirim, Rondônia, to provide information from graduates and undergraduate students, through the application of a questionnaire. The results showed that the PIBID, PRP and PROBEN programs/projects play an important role in the training of undergraduate students and in the construction of teaching identity. It is worth highlighting the need to expand this research in terms of sample size and in other educational institutions, aiming to understand the impact of these programs and projects on initial training.
