Professional and Technological Education. The approach is justified by three interlinked regulatory documents: Provisional Measure No. 746/2016, Law No. 13.415/2017, and the National Textbook Plan for the New High School. It is a documentary and bibliographic research that uses the Pedagogical Projects of Integrated Technical Courses from the Federal Institute of Paraíba (IFPB) and the Inductive Guidelines of the National Council of Institutions of the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific, and Technological Education and the IFPB as the main sources of analysis. The reflection adopts critical social theory as its analytical key. The resistance involves the articulation of movements opposed to the reform, such as school occupations, inductive guidelines, and the National Front for a Democratic National Textbook Program. The study shows that, so far, the IFPB has not implemented the REM, but there is a process of tension and incorporation of its elements in the Pedagogical Course Projects.
