The present article aims to present the exercise of writing addressed reports as a device for academic formation in the Psychology course. Focusing on School/Educational Psychology, this experience was formalized in the internship and extension practice of the COLA/UFRJ Project, which conducts Institutional Analysis work with groups of professionals from public schools in Rio de Janeiro. The construction of reports in the Project adopts addressing the writing to professionals and schools as an exercise for students to perceive themselves in the force diagram analyzed in the meetings. The exercise of addressed writing expanded the analyses of the meetings held and grounded the interventive stance. Thus, the reports became a device, as they catalyzed academic formation and enabled the development of new ways of engaging in the interface between Psychology and Education.
