Adolescence is a period of great transformations, which can lead to dissatisfaction and controversial and inappropriate eating behaviors. In this scenario, health professionals and educators should be guided regarding discourses and attitudes that may cause harm to the health of adolescents. Thus, this study aimed to prepare, develop and evaluate educational material for health professionals and educators on susceptibility to disordered eating and its consequences in adolescence, based on three stages: 1 - narrative review; 2 - preparation of the material; 3 - development and evaluation of the material by reviewers and the public. Data were collected through self-completion of semi-structured questionnaires, with sociodemographic and opinion questions. To analyze the level of agreement expressed by the Likert scale, the Content Validity Index (CVI) of each evaluative question and the overall CVI for each evaluative group were calculated. Based on the evaluation of appearance (global CVI 0.86±0.10) and content (global CVI 0.96±0.05), the educational material was improved and forwarded for public evaluation, where it achieved a higher global CVI (0.98±0.04) and above the minimum recommended parameters, indicating effectiveness in the development process and adaptation to the public.
