Abstract

O consumo de álcool é disseminado na população em geral, e muito popular entre jovens, sendo seu uso pouco debatido na Escola. Este artigo objetivou aplicar um produto educacional voltado para o debate do consumo do álcool entre jovens, para além de uma abordagem médica. A metodologia utilizada foi a de uma intervenção pedagógica estruturada como uma proposta de ensino na disciplina de Biologia II, voltada à sensibilização dos discentes do 4º ano do Ensino Médio Integrado, do curso Técnico em  Mecanica FRN - campus Mossoró. A intervenção se concretizou em seis semanas, com duas horas-aulas semanais nas cinco primeiras semanas, e três horas-aulas na sexta semana. Metodologicamente, combinou a exposição dialogada docente com ações discentes que envolveram a escrita, a oralidade, a pesquisa e a reflexão crítica. Os instrumentos de coleta foram o diário de bordo e a produção textual (resenhas e fóruns de discussão). Os resultados sugerem a validação de nosso produto educacional, face à verificação de aprendizado e reflexões embasadas dos sujeitos da pesquisa.

Jose Araujo Amaral, IFRN

Possui graduação em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade de São Paulo (1994), mestrado em Biotecnologia pela Universidade de São Paulo (2000) e doutorado em Biotecnologia pela Universidade de São Paulo (2004). Atualmente é professor efetivo no Instituto Federal de Ensino, Ciência e Tecnologia do Rio Grande do Norte, campus Mossoró. Ministra aulas de biologia e para os cursos técnicos integrados e subsequente. Coordenou o curso de Especialização em Educação e Contemporaneidade (2018-2021) e leciona a disciplina de Seminários de Pesquisa no mestrado em rede PROFEPT, atuando ainda como orientador nestes dois programas de pós-graduação. Tem experiência em pesquisa na área de microbiologia e Imunologia, com ênfase em Biotecnologia de imunobiológicos. Atualmente desenvolve pesquisas e extensão na área de ensino de Biologia e na área ambiental (educação, saúde e sustentabilidade), além de orientar pesquisas sobre ensino na educação profissional.
