PLANNING AND VALIDATION OF AN EDUCATIONAL PRODUCT IN THE PROFESSIONAL MASTERS

One of the characteristics that distinguishes the Professional Masters from the Academic Masters is the demand for a technical production (educational product). This production is regulated by CAPES based on five validation criteria. Therefore, the process of developing an Educational Product (EP) involves theoretical-methodological issues, linked to the object of study of the research, as well as the procedures that involve the evaluation and validation of this product. This study is an exploratory research divided into three phases: 1) bibliographical; 2) documental; and 3) data collection. In the bibliographical phase, we use as literature review: Valente (2013) with the notion of interaction within Distance Learning (DL); Aubert et. al. (2010) as a theoretical basis for the dialogical approach; and Freitas (2021) for the construction of the EP. In the documental phase, through the analysis of the Pedagogical Project of four graduation degree courses in Modern Languages, we identified the lack of basic training for DL. In the data collection, we verified the lack of activities with speaking interactions on the Virtual Learning Environment involving languages following the Tourist Guide Vocational Course. Therefore, we propose the development of the EP: speaking practice in Distance Learning Teaching, a continuous teacher training course, whose objective is enhancing the development of collaborative pedagogical practice, essential to social performances linked to language learning and to online Vocational Education and Training. The proposal presents the structure for the planning of the EP, divided into six phases, associated to practical examples and to the criteria established by CAPES, necessary for the validation of the EP.Downloads
