For four decades, HIV has become a global crisis problem, its statistical levels already exceed 42.3 million deaths worldwide, and it is estimated that 39.9 million people are infected with the virus, making these people vulnerable to infection. This study aimed to: Identify the association of factors that integrate the individual, social and programmatic vulnerabilities of people living with HIV/AIDS. This was a cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach, the sample consisted of 268 people living with HIV/AIDS, followed up at the CTA/SAE, between 2022/2023 in Caxias-MA. For data collection, an adapted questionnaire was used, with sociodemographic questions, associated with the marker that assessed the three vulnerabilities: social, individual and programmatic. The data were tabulated and organized in Microsoft Office Excel 365 and for analysis, the statistical software Program R (4.3.2), and IBM SPSS 22 for Windows were used, For categorical variables, the Chi-Square test was applied with independence at the 95% confidence level (α=0.05) and for numerical variables, the Kruskal-Wallis test was applied for independent variables at the 95% confidence level (α=0.05). When associating the variable and the vulnerability marker, it was possible to observe that there were positive associations between the variables sex (p=0.040) sexual orientation (p=0.001); participants were on average 43 years old with value (p=0.003), marital status (p=0.014), and sexual orientation (p=0.045). Therefore, the identification of vulnerability factors, in a general overview, revealed that participants were vulnerable, due to the difficulty that many face in discussing aspects related to HIV/AIDS prevention.
