The article under discussion aims to bring some reflections on Inclusive Education in the scenario of Professional Education in Brazil and its global influences. We present a brief discussion about current legislation on Inclusive Education, as well as verifying the experience of Inclusive Education in Professional Education and in the world of work. The theoretical background is based on Brazilian legislation over the years and on the works of several researchers who debate the issue of inclusive education and the importance of work in the theoretical and practical field in society. It is clear that many legal instruments have been adapted and updated over time in relation to Inclusive Education. However, there is still much to be achieved, despite advances in terms of legislation, the rights that encompass teacher-student in the promotion of inclusive education have not been fully realized. It can be seen that, in practice, the implementation of legislation leaves a lot to be desired and that there is still much to be achieved when it comes to inclusive education. There is a pressing need to train teachers who deal daily with students with disabilities at school. Legislation must also be designed and constructed in order to guarantee the quality of the teaching and learning process on the part of both teachers and students.
