Chronic Kidney Disease is a progressive and irreversible condition that causes biological and metabolic imbalances. Along the way, patients face significant physical and emotional impacts, including losses and changes in various areas of life. In this way, quality of life is analyzed in terms of physical, psychological, environmental and social aspects, with a focus on improvement after the start of dialysis treatment. The study aimed to analyze the perception of quality of life of patients undergoing dialysis treated in an outpatient clinic, focusing on the physical, psychological, environmental and social domains. This is a descriptive cross-sectional study, adopting a mixed study to evaluate the quality of life of patients undergoing dialysis treatment at a Large General Hospital in Belo Horizonte/MG. The results showed that for patients with chronic kidney disease, the perception of quality of life is influenced by individual adaptation capacity, social support, and environmental conditions. Such findings corroborate, highlighting the correlation of satisfaction in different areas, including the social and affective, paying attention to the temporal and cultural context, encompassing individual and collective experiences and values. It was concluded that multidisciplinary interventions are crucial to improving well-being, playing a vital role in adapting patients to the changes caused by the disease. An integrated approach, combining clinical and psychosocial care, is essential for improving patients' quality of life and well-being.Downloads
