The high infectivity of the COVID-19 virus and the increase in the number of cases led to the adoption of social distancing, being the measure that most changed people's daily lives. Therefore, this review aims to present a survey of the lifestyle of the Brazilian population during the COVID-19 pandemic, with regard to diet, physical activity, alcohol intake, tobacco use and sleep in adults. This is an integrative review of the literature, the search was carried out in October 2023 in the following databases: SciELO, LILACS and CAPES Periodicals Portal. 164 articles were found in the searches and six articles were selected to compose this work. The total sample was 85,289 participants and it was possible to identify an increase in physical inactivity, greater consumption of unhealthy foods, as well as an increase in alcohol consumption, tobacco use among smokers, and changes in the participants' sleep quality. It is concluded that, during social distancing, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there was greater adoption of a negative lifestyle in relation to food, physical activity, alcohol intake, tobacco use and quality of sleep.
