The university environment poses significant challenges to students' mental health and biopsychosocial well-being, particularly in contexts of socioeconomic vulnerability. This study analyzes the participatory practices developed by the Student Quality of Life Division (DQVE) at the Federal University of Cariri (UFCA), focusing on the application of the WHOQOL-BREF. The methodology, employing a mixed approach, included quantitative and qualitative data from institutional reports, satisfaction surveys, and service records. The results showed that psychological support, educational campaigns, and financial assistance are essential for improving students' quality of life and academic retention. The positive correlation between the services provided and students' academic success highlights the importance of integrated public policies in addressing inequalities. However, challenges remain, such as expanding access to mental health services and mitigating the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. This study contributes to the discussion on participatory practices in higher education, emphasizing the importance of critical and collaborative approaches to promoting equity and inclusion.
