This study aimed to map and analyze the scientific production related to physical training and arterial stiffness, through a bibliometric analysis based on data from the Web of Science until October 2024. Using the descriptors “exercise”, “arterial stiffness” and “vascular stiffness”, 98 articles were selected and analyzed with the CitNetExplorer® and VOSviewer® software. The year 2022 recorded the highest number of publications (n=27). America (n=39) and Asia (n=36) led in production volume, with emphasis on the USA (n=23) and China (n=20). Institutions in Japan and China played a relevant role, with five articles each. Author Park was the most productive (n=5), and his pilot study was the most cited (n=54). The journal Frontiers in Physiology had the highest number of publications (n=10). Of the studies, 67% were interventions and 33% reviews. Authors such as Tanaka, Green and Miyachi contributed significantly. In co-authorship networks, Viana and Costa stood out as hubs, while Zhu, Zhou and Costa were prominent in citations. The 21 keywords highlight the association between physical exercise, arterial stiffness and risk factors. Scientific production increased in 2022, with a focus on the effects of exercise on cardiovascular diseases and mechanisms of arterial stiffness.
