Self-esteem is an excellent indicator of mental health quality and social well-being. Good self-esteem means a healthier relationship with oneself and others. This article is a bibliographic study that encompasses a discussion of various authors to provide knowledge about the definition of self-esteem, romantic relationships, and to describe the relevance of good self-steem in interpersonal relationships. It defines the impacts of low self-esteem, emphasizing the importance of working on self-esteem based on cognitive-behavioral therapy and how improving self-esteem can positively affect individuals' relationships. The study's objective is to understand the impacts of good self-esteem on the quality of romantic relationships. After researching published articles, it was observed that a person with good self-esteem has more satisfying intimate relationships and feels better about themselves. Thus, even in the face of conflicts and problems, individuals can resolve issues more assertively.
